One of the most consistent internal marketing strategies that we use in our office are the birthday postcards. Every month we send out postcards to our clients giving them a FREE adjustment.
Not free with a purchase, or free with your second visit- it is a GIFT and it has value. When they come in to claim their gift, the front office staff will greet them in a pleasant manner and wish them a happy birthday.
The doctor is to give them an adjustment to the best of their ability- and wish them a happy birthday, thank them for coming back and NOT MAKE THEM FEEL GUILTY ABOUT BEING AWAY! You have to be genuinely glad to see them.
I tell them ”I am glad you came back to see us! I’m here for you if you need me-Happy Birthday!
I find when there is absolutely no sales talk about re-signing with a care plan is when clients start asking about the price per visit (that means they want to return!)
